ABOUT IOWA APPLIANCE REPAIR
Iowa Appliance Repair is a locally owned, owner-operated business providing in-home appliance repair throughout Ankeny and the Des Moines metro area. Professional service has been provided since April 2022, following completion of a formal apprenticeship program.
Training and certifications include Master Samurai Tech, Fred’s Appliance Academy, Dyer Appliance Repair Academy, and EPA certification. Iowa Appliance Repair is fully insured and properly registered with the State of Iowa.
We specialize in assessing and repairing major household appliances — including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, ranges, and microwaves — using professional methods and OEM parts whenever available.

HOW APPLIANCE REPAIR PRICING WORKS:
1. $99 IN-HOME
ASSESSMENT
We collect a $99 assessment fee when you schedule. This covers the technician’s time to come to your home, assess the appliance, and make a repair recommendation.
2. BLUE BOOK
REPAIR QUOTE
If a repair is recommended, we’ll provide an upfront quote for parts and labor using Blue Book job-rate pricing. This standardized pricing system helps ensure consistent and fair pricing for the repair being performed.
3. YOU
DECIDE
If you approve the repair, we’ll complete the recommended work. Payment for the repair is collected after the work is completed.
PLEASE NOTE
The $99 assessment fee is separate from the repair price and is not applied toward the repair.
Repair pricing is flat-rate. If an approved repair requires more than one visit, there are no additional trip fees.
